Few Quiet People is Polish independent net-label founded in 2009 by Wojciech Krasowski, Maciej Nejman and Cezary Rudaś. Based in two cities Katowice and Gdańsk merged from two separtes ideas of Wojciech Krasowski and Maciej Nejman to create label where music and desing collapse in a futuristic way.
Label very quickly gained recognition in the eyes of critics picking up good reviews. Publications in the German music magazine “Beat”or positive response from the British radio station ‘Radio Fluid “garnered almost FQP fans around the world.
Artists associated with Few Quiet People visited the most interesting festivals in the 2009/2010 year min. Unsound Festival, Plateaux Festival, the Festival Off, Tauron NowaMuzyka and abroad min. Lithuania (Jauna Muzika), Spain (Intr: Muros), Russia (Alt + E), England and China.
Almost a year break in activity was caused by the FQP in the ranks of the label.
“We do not exclude that some day in the catalog FQP will be held also for a special series of publications minimal techno, which again we are fans, “says Maciej Nejman.
Experimental music coupled with the spirit of modern times, this is what interests us. We do not want to become the next net-label similar to hundreds of others scattered over the network. Our goal is to promote young and brave artists not only from the fields of music, but also video and broad understanding of design. ” says Wojciech Krasowski.
